Following the completion of this course, trainees should be able to identify the various considerations related to operating a blood & fluid warmer in tandem with rapid intermittent (bolus) flow infusers such as hand pump, push-pull, or LifeFlow. The course is composed of 2 main parts: ~11 minutes training video followed by a 10-question competency quiz.
Prerequisite
This course is open for QinFlow customers (direct customers or customers of any of QinFlow’s trade partners) and end users. In addition, trainees shall complete the following prerequisites:
- Online in-service training (for any Warrior line product, as applicable)
- Review of the Instructions For Use (IFU)
Course Syllabus
Lesson 1: Consideration for Operating the Warrior in Tandem with Rapid Intermittent (Bolus) Flow Infusers (~11 minutes)
Review of the key considerations related to operating the Warrior line device in tandem with rapid intermittent infusers. Topics covered in this lesson:
- Review of prominent rapid intermittent flow infusers and the challenges that they pose
- Considerations regarding setup
- Considerations regarding the optimal way to operate rapid intermittent infusers in tandem with a Warrior line device
- Considerations regarding IO access
Final Step: Competency Test
Following the completion of the video, trainees need to take the competency quiz. To pass the quiz, trainees must correctly answer at least 8 out of 10 questions.
Completion Certificate
If success criteria is met; that is, trainee completes the video and answers correctly at least 8 out of the 10 competency quiz questions, a certificate will be available for download.

Assess setup and operational considerations pertinent to the protocols in your organization, as applicable. Contact intermittent infuser manufacturers to request guidelines, if so needed.
