In the hospital’s surgery and ICU settings, simplicity of operation, high performance, and commercial affordability are core requirements. The Warrior AC was designed to address these needs. Anyone can be trained to operate the Warrior AC: simply prime the consumable and turn the unit on; blood/fluids will get to body temperature in seconds, even at intense flow rates. Priming is simple and can be done even prior to connecting the consumable to the Warrior AC.
The Warrior AC can deliver from KVO and up to 290 ml/min of cold blood and 500ml/min of room temperature fluids. As importantly, it can uniquely handle bolus flows generated through push-pull resuscitation techniques (e.g. hand pump, syringe, LifeFlow-like devices, etc.).
The Warrior AC is practically maintenance free (inspection every 5 years); thus, it does not load the busy biomedical engineering teams. Finally, by adding a battery the Warrior AC can be upgraded to a Warrior Hybrid configuration.
The Warrior AC is a top performance yet simple-to-operate blood and IV fluid warmer for operating rooms and intensive care units.
If portability is required, the Warrior AC configurations can be easily upgraded to the Warrior Hybrid configuration by simply adding a battery.
The Warrior AC utilizes the same disposable unit that is used by all other Warrior configurations.
