Fort Hunter Liggett becomes first EMS in California and first in Army to carry blood!

Fort Hunter Liggett (FHL) becomes first EMS in California and first in Army to carry blood! This is great news for FHL as well as all Californians, and QinFlow is thrilled to contribute to attainment of these milestones. The Warrior is the only device validated to handle the rapid bolus flows generated by Trauma Flow tubing such as the one used by FHL in its prehospital blood program.

Amy Phillips reports about FHL new capability in a recent article published by King City Rustler on July 19, 2022. She writes:

Having this system and the ability to provide whole blood to injured soldiers and civilians on Fort Hunter Liggett is a life changer, said Haggie, EMS coordinator… FHL’s whole blood program utilizes components that were developed for battlefield use by the USAISR, as well as proven technologies that stem from the Army’s civil-military integration programs in the San Antonio area in particular. The Army has increasingly recognized the requirements for rapid pre-hospital blood infusions for soldiers injured on the battlefield.”
