1,000 units of blood transfused prehospitally in San Antonio since 2018, saving countless lives. An exciting milestone for San Antonio Fire Department and the entire ecosystem that makes this magic happens, including donors, clinicians, South Texas Blood & Tissue, STRAC, technology providers, supporting medical centers, and sponsors, to name just a few. We feel privileged to contribute to this progressive program that makes a huge difference for the entire community and sets the standard of care for the entire nation, and probably beyond.
