We are proud that our Chairman, Dr. John Holcomb, is working closely with the Global Surgical and Medical Support Group (GSMSG) to help in saving lives in Ukraine!

GSMSG, a 501c3 non-profit organization of over 1500 U.S. Special Operations veterans and medical professionals, provides high level medical care and full-spectrum training to host nation partners in conflict zones and austere settings around the world since 2015. On Thursday Feb 24, when war broke out in Ukraine, GSMSG mobilized its teams of US Special Operations veterans and physicians. Within 7 days nearly 40 team members including GSMSG US Special Forces and NSW veterans along with a recently retired US Army surgeon, anesthesiologist and OR nurse arrived in Ukraine. To date, GSMSG consistently deploys the highest caliber professionals in Ukraine including special operations veterans trained by Army SF, NSW, JSOC, JMAU, AFSOC as well as the highest quality medical professionals. GSMSG aims to constantly rotate teams of expert US surgeons so as to share knowledge, expertise in techniques in use of equipment and supplies, and best practices.

In just few weeks of operation in Ukraine, GSMSG trained thousands of Ukrainians in TCCC (including Ukrainian trainers), trained 40 physicians in trauma surgery procedures such as chest tubes and vessel ligation, held trauma and burn surgery training lectures for approximately 200 Ukrainian physicians, advised Ukrainian EMS command in chemical weapons incident mass decontamination procedures, and translated the US Army Tactical Combat Casualty Care- All Service Members (ASM) course into native Ukrainian, distributed to the Ukrainian forces and population (with nearly 20,000 unique downloads so far).

QinFlow has already committed to supporting this program by delivering blood warming equipment and supplies. If you wish to support GSMSG courageous and important operation as well, go to www.GSMSG.org/donate or contact GSMSG at contact@GSMSG.org.
