Compact, High Performance, and Exceptionally Safe…
Air and ground prehospital transport must rely on equipment that is lightweight, portable, failsafe to assemble, easy to operate, and highly reliable. This same equipment must deliver uncompromising hospital-grade performance during transport. However, operation during transport adds an additional level of complexity. Specifically, medical transport equipment must comply with the most stringent of safety requirements, especially with respect to the demanding Safe-To-Fly standards. Furthermore, the volume of transport calls demands a solution that is commercially affordable. All these properties are the cornerstone design considerations for the Warrior lite. The lite system provides a delivery rate of up to 170/180* ml/minute for blood products, as well as unmatched ability to deal with intermittent flows such as push-pull methods, hand pumps, syringes, LifeFlow-like devices, etc. Additionally, the lite offers an adjustable battery size for optimal operational fit**, ~800g/1,100g* total weight, and a significantly lower per-use price compared with all modern prehospital warmers. The Warrior lite is an ideal candidate for routine air and ground transport missions.
For long transports or when very high delivery rates are required, we recommend the Warrior and the Warrior EXTREME configurations (civil and military configurations, respectively). These configurations convey the best field performance compared with all battery-operable warmers, offering a delivery rate of up to 200 ml/minute for blood (compared with 100-150 ml/minute for 3rd party devices). The Warrior can distribute up to 3.5 liters with a single battery, and persistently provides unmatched performance when push-pull transfusion techniques are applied.
* With lite battery and Extra Power, respectively
** Warm up to 3 liters of blood with the Extra Power battery
POINT OF INJURY, PRE-HOSPITAL TRANSPORTS & MILITARY
Delivering high performance, yet compact and light, the Warrior lite is an optimal configuration for space and weight constrained rescue gears, first responders, pre-hospital and critical care transports.
The Warrior lite offers two battery configurations for optimal operational fit: the lite battery (170ml/min; up to 1.3 liters of near freeze blood/IV fluids; 800g) and the Extra Power battery (180ml/min; up to 3 liters of near freeze blood/IV fluids; 1.1kg).
The Warrior lite utilizes the same disposable unit that is used by all other Warrior configurations.
PRE-HOSPITAL TRANSPORTS, EMERGENCY DEPARTMENTS & MILITARY
With its unmatched performance, the Warrior is an ideal blood/IV fluid warming solution for mid- to long-haul pre-hospital transports as well as for emergency departments that advocate simplicity and portability. Its performance makes a huge difference in environments in which aggressive bolus flows are applied in an intermittent fashion.
The Warrior EXTREME is the ruggedized version of the Warrior Base Unit, for harsh (combat) operating environments. The performance of both devices is identical. The key differences are in the certification and compliance framework. More specifically, the Warrior EXTREME complies with MIL-STD 461G RE102 and RS103 and certified for higher Ingress Protection (IP) rating (IP56).
The Warrior and Warrior EXTREME share the same accessories, and they utilize the same disposable unit that is used by all other Warrior configurations.
“It is a great warming device. Makes a difference in patient outcomes. Well designed and I have not one thought of changing to another project.”
